3rd Annual African Gala a Great Success!

Thank you to all our supporters for the 2010 African Gala!

The event was a great success, and during just the Fund-A-Need portion of the oral auction we raised money for fifty cows for the Uganda Cow Project.

Special thanks go out to our volunteers, without whom the event would not have been possible. We’d like to especially thank all those who donated silent and oral auction items, those who sponsored tables and those brought their friends. Thank you also to Gretchen Wagner for her A/V expertise, to Beth Meireth for her photography, to Gene and Mike Operle for their music, to Maryellen Kliethermes for her tech support, to the art students at Incarnate Word Academy who made the lovely signs used at the Gala, to our own “cow” singer, Sr. Barbara Schlatter, and to all who came, making the evening a wonderful celebration.
