What is it? We are asking you to put yourself in the shoes of someone who is hungry, really hungry, by FASTING for 36 hours. Once you have committed to fasting, the next step is finding sponsors who can give a donation per our or a one time total amount.
The FAST starts at 9PM on Thursday October 20, 2011 and ends at 9 AM on Saturday October 22, 2011.
We will have a breakfast on Saturday Oct. 20 at 9am at the Italia-America Bocce Club, 2210 Marconi, St. Louis, MO 63139, on The Hill. Please join us to break the fast together!

Give an Alternative Gift
This holiday season, consider honoring your loved ones with an ALTERNATIVE GIFT of a donation to MPA in their honor. By giving a donation in their names, you are multiplying your holiday dollars, showering your loved ones with a special and meaningful gift, and making a difference to people in Africa for whom your gift is a HAND UP out of poverty. Providing a cow to a family costs only $800, but the economic stability it provides enables the entire family to lift themselves out of poverty with dignity and offers hope to an entire community.
