Kaputei is a housing project outside of Nairobi, Kenya for Jamii Bora members. The project allows people to own their own homes, and to get out of the slums.

The Kibera slum. Kibera is the second largest slum in Africa, and is located in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. The slum is home to 1.5 million people, and is smaller in size than Central Park, NYC.

Jamii Bora got its start eleven years ago with Ingrid Munro helping a group of women who were from Kibera.
